Delete your account

The Deft app keeps your notes on your device and needs no account. You have one only if you set up Deft Sync, and this page is how to delete it.

Delete it yourself

1. Sign in at usedeft.com/account with the email you use for sync.
2. Choose Delete account at the bottom of the page and confirm with your password.

That is immediate. It signs out every device, deletes your encrypted notes and their version history, the list of your devices and your email address, and cancels any subscription.

What stays

• The notes on your own devices. Each device keeps its copy; delete it there or uninstall Deft.
• Our encrypted database backups, which age out within 30 days.
• Invoices and tax records at Paddle, our merchant of record, kept as the law requires for payments.

Can't sign in?

Email support@usedeft.com from the account's address and we delete it for you within a few days and confirm.
